Clark Lantz Attends Arsenic Summit

Aug. 13, 2014

Dr. Clark Lantz, Associate Director of the University of Arizona Superfund Research Program (UA SRP) attended the “Human and Environmental Sustainability Summit 2014: Environmental and Human Health Consequences of Arsenic” conference in Bar Harbor, Maine, August 13-15, 2014. Held on the MDI Biological Laboratory campus, and co-sponsored by the UA SRP, Dartmouth SRP, and the organic medical nutrition company Nature's One.

Dr. Clark Lantz was invited to participate because of his expertise in arsenic-induced adverse health outcomes.  He says the experience was unique, since it brought together a diverse group of stakeholders with different perspectives and goals to begin developing plans to significantly reduce global exposure to arsenic in food and drinking water by the year 2020.
