Dr. Clark Lantz Promoted to Associate VP for Research

Dr. Clark Lantz, Associate Director of the University of Arizona Superfund Research Program, recently received a promotion. He will be serving the University of Arizona as the Interim Associate Vice President for Research. In his new role, Dr. Lantz will engage in research development activities, manage internal grant reviews, develop and support high technology research facilities, and promote interdisciplinary research opportunities. “This is a great honor, and will be an exciting and challenging new experience for me,” says Dr. Lantz. “My past experiences with participation and management of interdisciplinary research and oversight of University wide imaging facilities should prove helpful as I take on these new duties at the University administrative level.”

Dr. Lantz will continue in his role as UA SRP Associate Director, as well as principle investigator of UA SRP Project 3, “Pulmonary response to toxicants in susceptible populations: alterations following in utero and early post-natal exposure.”
