Dr. Thomas Boving Receives Tenure

Dr. Thomas B. Boving, a former graduate student within the University of Arizona SBRP, was recently granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor of Geosciences in the College of Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. While a student at the University of Arizona, Dr. Boving studied the dissolution and remediation of chlorinated solvents under the supervision of Dr. Mark L. Brusseau. Dr. Boving's research interests now include environmental hydrology, the fate and transport of organic contaminants, innovative remediation technologies, and applications of cyclodextrins. Dr. Boving is also the Director of Graduate Admissions for the Geosciences Department at the University of Rhode Island.
