New Transferable Training Module Now Available

The Community Engagement Core of The University of Arizona Superfund Research Program has collaborated with promotores de salud and risk assessment scientists to put together another component to add to its bilingual “Transferable Training Modules on Environmental Science” collection. The modules are based on a “train-the-trainer” model and provide instructional materials that guide promotores on the development and implementation of interactive trainings.
“Risk Assessment in the Environment” was specifically designed to present the diverse concepts involved in the assessment of risk by both government agencies as well as everyday people. The module is available in both English and Spanish, and contains background information, additional resources (websites and videos), and training tools (PowerPoint presentation, training extensions, and concept activities).
