UA SBRP Co-hosts 24th Annual Mountain West Society of Toxicology Meeting

UA SBRP Investigator Rich Vaillancourt is the Vice President of the Mountain West Society of Toxicology and has organized the 24th Annual meeting titled: Pharmaceuticals in Wastewater: Biological Impact of Endocrine Disruptors and Other Compounds.

Together with the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology and the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center, the University of Arizona’s SBRP is hosting the meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona on September 7 – 8, 2006.

The mission of the Society of Toxicology is to advance the health sciences through the understanding of toxicology.  With this in mind, Dr. Vaillancourt has recruited a wide variety of speakers to discuss the issue from various biomedical and environmental perspectives, as well as representing the stakeholders surrounding the issue
