Walt Klimecki Promoted to Associate Chair of Pharm/Tox

{Feb, 2013} University of Arizona Superfund Research Program (UA SRP) investigator Dr. Walt Klimecki has been promoted to Associate Chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. Dr. Klimecki is the principal investigator of UA SRP Project 4, “Determinants of individual variability in arsenic cytotoxicity,” and a member of the “Metals Exposure in Homes Study” team. In his new role, Dr. Klimecki will participate in the management and strategic planning for the department.  Walt adds, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in this role, supporting a department that defines excellence in environmental health-related research and teaching.”
