Journalism and environmental science major junior Marissa Heffernan has joined the UA SRP as a research communication writer, to help highlight important work happening in the SRP and communicate research and findings to the greater community.
Marissa is passionate about the environment and excited to be working with the UA SRP in this capacity. She’s worked in journalism for over five years and wants to pursue a career in environmental journalism, telling overlooked stories and sharing important information with the public.
