Bio
Tyler was born and raised on the Jersey Shore before he left home to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon finishing his degree he moved across the country to Tucson to work towards a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona. Though he completed the program in 2024, he remained in Tucson to begin his postdoctoral training in the Department of Environmental Science, where his research focuses on the characterization and applications of novel glycolipid surfactants. Outside of the lab, Tyler loves to experiment with new recipes and dive into a new fantasy novel.
