Research Interests

My research interests focus on the impact of aridity on soil microbial diversity, soil function, and the associated relationship between compromised microbial diversity and the sustainability of vegetation in arid natural ecosystems or in soils compromised by mining activity or overuse. This focus extends to the contributions of microbes to soil formation processes
